For this photo essay I asked people to show me one thing that they held dearly that many would not guess at first glance. What people hold as valuable is subjective, and the range pf what people hold dearly is so wide. With just a singular glance you can come to understand people. Just from the things they hold close to them.

I also participated, taking a timer portrait of myself I wanted to highlight one of my biggest inpirations and collectables “The Stranger” by Billy Joel. The three other subjects selected their cat, their self portrait, and their grandmothers earring.
